This is the makeup organizer I bought last time. I was disappointed that the door was made of translucent acrylic, so you could see inside a little. I ended up renovating it 😎 I thought it would be simple to just stick a sticker on the inside of the acrylic door... But... I think I did it 5-6 times 😂 ✅️ First attempt As a hologram lover, I bought the sticker in holographic form... I thought it would match the metal accents on the furniture. But holograms are powerful. They can transform a neat vanity into a party venue!! And the sloppy hologram sticker makes you repeat the process endlessly: attach > create bubbles > peel the sticker > remove the sticker > let it dry > reattach. LOL😵‍💫 ✅️ Second attempt I wanted to go with a safe white, so I bought white sticker. Oh... that white is a really bright white. The furniture is cream-white, so the acrylic door is a bit too bright. 🙄 ✅️ 3rd attempt I thought this was the last time, so I bought ivory sheeting that's similar to the cream-white color. Oh... I thought the wood embossing would be okay since the adhesive surface is flat, but even after applying it without any air bubbles, the wood embossing shows through. Hahahahahahahahaha Still, it's hard to see from the front, so I'm just going about my life without noticing. If I could turn back time... I'd beat myself up for deciding to remodel. Hahaha 😉 If you still want to use the sheeting, here are some tips :) - Lay down a soft cloth on the floor (to prevent scratches on the front). - When applying the sheeting, start from the corners and gently peel off the backing, using a rolling pin to avoid air bubbles. Think of it like applying a phone film! - I recommend a plain sheeting. Haha - And be sure to buy some sticker remover just in case you fail. The sheeting leaves a lot of residue after removal.
