I store small items I don't want to show off in a shaker box, and I keep small items I received as gifts out. I bought this shelf when I was decorating my first home, and even after several years, it's still a sturdy, stain-resistant piece of furniture! It was a bit tricky to assemble, but once it's done, it's incredibly sturdy. The second home I moved into has black flooring, and the combination of white furniture and black flooring is beyond my expectations! So, this piece sits between the kitchen and living room, and it's become my go-to for pretty things. There are so many new furniture items these days, and the materials are so diverse, but as someone who loves classics, I think I'll use this simple, uncluttered shelf for a long time!
