Part 2 of easy-to-grow plant recommendations picked by a 7-month-old gardener! You loved the first part so much, I brought you Part 2 right away! 🤍 1. Snow Sapphire [★★★★★] I brought Snow Sapphire home because I fell in love with its pretty leaves! It's fun to watch because it keeps sprouting new leaves every time I look at it. However, despite all that new growth, I haven't really been taking care of it, so it's growing really well on its own. 🤣 2. Abyss Fern [★★★★★] I'm obsessed with ferns and growing various types, and of all the ferns I grow, this one seems to be the one that grows the most on its own! 👍🏻 It's so cute how it sprouts four leaves at a time from the inside, and its sturdy leaves rarely wilt or burn, so it grows beautifully. If you're new to ferns, I recommend Abyss Fern! 3. Blue Star Fern [★★★★] Blue Star Fern doesn't seem to require much maintenance, but while it's growing well, one or two new leaves always wilt before they fully develop and I have to pull them out. ㅠㅠ🫢 I haven't been able to find the cause yet, as it's growing so well that I can't say it's due to overwatering or environmental issues. So, I'm slightly taking off a star. 4. Boston Fern [★★★★] My first fern...💚 I fell in love with the charm of bracken starting with Boston ferns, and now I have a whole bunch of them! Ferns aren't difficult to grow, but they really love water, so if they're even slightly underwatered, the leaves will immediately dry out. That's why I absolutely recommend bottom watering for bracken ferns! Ferns need a certain amount of water and ventilation to grow beautifully, so I'm giving it 4 stars! 5. Davana Fern [★★★★] The leaves are so beautiful and charming. ㅠㅠ🤍 It seems to be a bit more drought-tolerant than Boston Fern, so the leaves haven't dried out and are growing well. But since I just got this new plant, I'm still not sure about it. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 6. Friedeck [★★★] Friedeck is a truly eventful plant.... I knew Friedeck wasn't easy to grow, but I still managed it diligently. It grew beautifully, but the leaves started drooping, then yellowed and changed color. I changed the pot to a smaller slit, and it's sprouting new leaves. When I feel like giving up, I give it hope. When I feel like giving up, Friedeck gives me hope. 😭 I keep caring for it, hoping it will grow beautifully again someday. I don't think I can recommend Friedeck to beginner gardeners. ㅠㅠ 7. Patterned Boston Fern [★★★★★] Isn't it just like Boston Fern, except with a pattern? I thought about it, but I didn't! The leaf shapes may be similar, but the tree shape and growth are completely different, giving them a unique charm! In my opinion, the patterned Boston fern has a prettier, drooping leaf shape, and it's easier to care for and grows better, so I recommend the patterned Boston fern over the Boston fern!!💚 This time, I've included some of my favorite ferns. Ferns aren't terribly difficult to care for, but they're incredibly charming, so I highly recommend growing one!
