I chose a familiar gas stove because of the preconception that induction would be difficult to maintain and operate. But gas stoves are actually incredibly difficult to clean and maintain. One day, after finishing the kitchen and looking at the newly tidy kitchen, I noticed the gas stove was a thorn in my side. It didn't look very clean. So, I bought an induction cover and covered it up. 🤭 When I use the gas stove, I lean it against the wall. It prevents food from splashing, and if it gets on the cover, it's incredibly easy to clean! It's actually easier to maintain, isn't it?
