My desk, seen from above ๐ซถ๐ป I've set up a small desk next to my bed (for writing, reading, watching, and typing)! There might be less quiet time than before, but I'm trying to enjoy a little me-time during the day. Looking at my desk filled with my favorite postcards, mobiles, and writing instruments makes me feel good, doesn't it? Even putting on headphones and listening to my favorite songs makes me feel like I'm transported to another place for a moment. These days, my diary has practically become a parenting journal, filled with records of my baby's behavior and changes, and my emotions as they occur. (Thanks to keeping a five-year diary), I can read about what I did today last year and the year before, and I wonder what fun it will be to look back on today this year and tomorrow! "Writing down today's thoughts is a way to talk to my tomorrow self. By rereading those words, we can respond to that conversation." Choi Yu-su (2019).
