My bedroom is on the small side, and a super king-size bed felt cramped and difficult to decorate. After my second child was born and we shared a second bed, the space became even smaller. But I couldn't give up my own space, so I added a Muji shelf in the corner to display my favorite items. I was really worried about what to put in my second bed, but if you can't afford a second bedroom like mine, I highly recommend the IKEA bed.
