I wanted to learn more about tea ceremonies and experiment with various tea utensils, so I was browsing YouTube videos. As if they knew what I was looking for, they finally let me try out Solsol Pureunsol's Pure Matte Tea Set. When I first saw the product photos, I thought it had a graceful shape and beautiful colors, but seeing it in person, it was even more luxurious and elegant. It's a ceramic bowl, but it's lightweight. Made with Solsol Pureunsol's proprietary matte glaze, it has a subtle matte finish rather than a flashy glossy finish, which feels even more luxurious. While it's perfect for serving tea, it can also be used for a variety of other purposes, such as serving soup, porridge, chawanmushi, desserts, and appetizers. And I felt like the lid and saucer resembled a curved plate, so I separated them and used them to serve desserts. I thought it would be a great set to use as a plating for a table setting or teatime table. Drinking tea in this elegant way makes me feel elegant and sophisticated. It even makes me feel at peace.
