The FTC16th group activities have finally concluded, and we're finally able to have a housewarming party. Looking at Today's House, I've finally completed the white & beige space I've always dreamed of. I wanted to create an overall warm yet calming atmosphere. Home is where we end and begin our days. So, above all, I aimed for a comfortable space that people want to stay in for a long time. ⸻ 👉🏻Living Room Introduction The living room is the face of the house, so I put the most effort into it. The furniture is primarily white in tone. The bright and soft color combination brightens the space when sunlight shines in. ⸻ 👉🏻Kitchen Introduction The kitchen is open and connected to the living room. Color coordination was paramount, so I chose a white tone overall and a light beige countertop. It's clean and uncluttered, making cooking feel great. ⸻ 👉🏻Dining Table & Dining Area The dining table seats four. I originally considered a two-person table, but I thought it would be too small for guests. ⸻ 👉🏻Bedroom Introduction The bedroom is designed to be the warmest and most inviting space. I combined the white walls with beige fabric. I wanted the bed frame to feel cozy, so I chose fabric, and the bedding was in yellow or blue. I change the bedding covers seasonally: linen in spring and cozy microfiber in winter. It's a small change, but it makes a huge difference in the bedroom atmosphere. ⸻ 👉🏻Dressing Room The dressing room is a modular set with a white vanity and wardrobe. Since there's a large built-in closet in the master bedroom, I don't need a full-size wardrobe yet. ⸻ 👉🏻Study I want to focus solely on reading and studying in the study, so I keep it simple with a desk, chair, books, an iPad, and a light. I've always wanted to buy a desk with motion sensors for my body, and it's a space I've always wanted to create. The Happiness I Find Through Home What I love most about this home is the overall sense of unity. Because the colors are white and beige, any accessory I add feels natural. I can create a new atmosphere with each season by simply changing up accents like small vases, paintings, rugs, and cushions. Home isn't just a place to stay; it's a place that influences my daily state and mood. That's why I always wanted to maintain a comfortable yet warm atmosphere. I plan to continue adding accessories and changing the atmosphere with the seasons to further enrich this space. I hope the warm energy of white and beige can be conveyed to those who, like me, cherish the time spent at home. Just as I'm always inspired by Today's House to create my own space, I hope this article offers a small inspiration for someone else's home decor.
