Things to know before installing a masonry sink 💌 I installed a masonry sink in my bathroom. It's a focal point every time I see it, and it creates a hotel-like atmosphere. I'm so happy with it. I'll share some tips from my own experience. 👇 1️⃣ Choose a Tile I recommend using a smooth material for the masonry sink tile. Rough tiles attract dust easily and are difficult to clean. Smooth tiles are much easier to maintain. 2️⃣ Maintenance and Cleaning They're pretty, but they require diligence.😁 Regular cleaning is essential to maintain a clean look for a long time. 3️⃣ Drainage Issues Water doesn't drain well.😭 So, while it's fine for simple handwashing, it may be inconvenient for anything more than that. 4️⃣ Prepare Extra Tiles Because of the nature of masonry sinks, tiles can break.🥹 It's always helpful to have extra tiles on hand during installation. This will come in handy for repairs.‼️ 5️⃣ Choose a Towel Rack I use a towel rack that adheres well to uneven surfaces, and it's incredibly convenient. Just make sure to check the size!
