3 Kitchen Interiors That I'm So Happy With #내돈내산 Raising a baby has made me spend more time in the kitchen, so here are three things I've found to be incredibly satisfying that make cooking and cleaning easier. 1️⃣Waterfall Faucet The gooseneck faucet was pretty, but it was annoying because it would splash water. Switching to a three-function waterfall faucet is a real treat because it allows me to adjust it to my needs! The gentle waterfall mode makes it easy to wash ingredients and dishes. The high-pressure jet is perfect for deep cleaning! The removable head is also convenient. 2️⃣Faux Marble UV Coating Ceramic is stain-resistant, but a sink top can easily cost over 10 million won. I saved money by applying a semi-permanent UV nano-coating to my faux marble. It's super water-resistant! Spills like kimchi soup or curry simply wipe away with a wet wipe. After installing the sink and faucet, there was no water stains, so there was significantly less cleaning to do. 📌 It's completely different from doing it yourself! In my previous home, I tried it myself, and it left brush marks and peeled with use. Professional installation is done neatly with a machine and even has a UV treatment for a semi-permanent finish. 3️⃣ Raise the sink by 10cm Sinks are typically around 80cm, but we made ours 91cm. It's convenient because I don't have to bend over when washing dishes. (Especially if you have a deep, square sink!) Since dishwater rarely splashes, we no longer need silicone mold guards or aprons. ➕I completed my kitchen interior with indirect lighting that enhances the ambiance without being too flashy. If you just install bar lighting on the upper cabinets for indirect lighting, it's too much of an eyesore and won't work.
