My first time making pickled peaches ๐Ÿ‘ I didn't have any lemon juice at home and I didn't have much sugar, so I looked at a lot of recipes and compromised, and it turned out delicious. โœ”๏ธ8-9 crisp peaches โœ”๏ธ450ml cup sugar / 1.1L water (I saw a lot of blogs saying the sugar:water ratio varies, like 1:1 or 1:2, so I added whatever I had.) I boiled it for over 10 minutes, as others had said, but I panicked because no bubbles were forming. ๐Ÿ˜‚ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ I turned the heat to high, and only then did bubbles start to form, so I skimmed them off and simmered them for a bit. When the peaches became translucent, I turned off the heat and let them cool. I'm not a seasoned cook, so this is a rough recipe, but it's delicious.
