I hung a framed cafe sign above the front door, and added a strawberry cake frame in a complementary color to create a more contrasting, cafe-like feel. Although it's a small studio apartment, I divided the space with a rug and curtains. I hung vintage curtains next to the bed for a cozy feel. I laid a rug carpet on the veranda for a soft, fresh feel, and since it faces north, I added plants. Don't you think installing the washer and dryer in series adds a touch of exoticism?
