Today was a gloomy day, so I baked cookies at home. Daiso had these mini measuring cups. My old ones were too big to store and heavy, so I was so happy I bought these without hesitation. They're so versatile, perfect for whisking eggs or making seasonings. These days, you can even search for cookie recipes in the green bar and the AI will tell you right away. Technology is constantly evolving. I'm just slow...😭 Still, I'm going to take my time and bake some cookies. Sprinkle some nuts. Plenty of chocolate! This recipe calls for almond flour along with cake flour, so I'm a little comforted. I even put in a little less sugar, but they're still pretty good. I just bake them in the oven, little by little, and they're done in no time. Cookies are perfect as long as you don't measure them out, and just make them enough that they hold together. Maybe it was because the weather was cloudy, but the dough was soggy, so I added more almond flour, and it was a success. To me, they taste even better than the macarons I bought yesterday.
