I bought the Muji furniture three years ago when I moved in and have been using it ever since. The sun-kissed surfaces naturally show their age. When I lived alone, I bought and discarded (or sold) furniture, and then bought more. I felt so guilty. It was a time to find my own style. I consoled myself by choosing only long-lasting items for my new home, based solely on my personal style. And so far, I'm sticking to that promise. If I think about what makes it so special, it's the unique natural feel of the bright wood tones. And of course, the functionality and minimal design.
