#FTC17기이야기 #우리집소개 Hello, I'm Niamon, FTC 17th Class^^ First mission! Let me introduce our home~ The first space I want to show you is the entryway. It's like the face of the house, so I put a lot of thought into its design. 🙂 Among, the part I put the most effort into is the mosaic flower tiles. I installed these tiles so that when you open the main door, you'll feel a connection to the adjacent living room and bathroom. I love these kinds of natural spaces that connect the two. (For example, installing the same lighting in the bedroom as the entryway light!) Actually, the spaces I'm most passionate about in our house are the entryway and the living room and bathroom. I think the tiles really shine. The living room and bathroom are used by my children and guests, so I paid close attention to every detail and filled them with a wealth of items. Another great thing about our home is that it faces south, allowing in plenty of sunlight. The living room is where this advantage shines the most, and I wanted to make the most of the sunlight, so I hung 100% linen curtains. I chose a warm butter yellow, and it's truly beautiful in person. People who come to our house always compliment me on how pretty the curtains are. 🙂 And let's not forget the kitchen, the only structural change we've made in our house. It was originally completely blocked by a pantry, but we boldly removed it and transformed it into a much airier space. Removing the pantry forced the staircase landing to drop below the ceiling, which forced us to lower the ceiling. This allowed us to add indirect lighting, which is now the most useful lighting in the house. Another thing I'm proud of is the secret storage space created after the demolition. Under the stairs, it looks like a wall at first glance, but when you open the door, you'll find a hidden storage area with plenty of storage space. The Roborock also serves as a haven for my aunt (or auntie). The sliding door leading to the laundry room was also installed as a double door, creating another hidden space that appears to be a wall at other times.
