The Oxycardium brazilianus I grow in my plant zone is beautiful and easy to grow, making it one of my recommended plants (top left). I accidentally cut off a branch a while ago and placed it in water, and it grew really long roots. I'm planning to grow it some more and then plant it in a pot!
