Decorating a space feels like discovering my own tastes and feelings. These days, I like to place my favorite paintings and objects throughout the space, so I can admire them and take a deep breath whenever I want. My favorite photo zone in my home is the Night Home Cafe. It's where I grab coffee, tea, and nutritional supplements, so I've hung my favorite painting from the Conran Shop. I also have my favorite object, a meditating cat, which I try to comfort me with, even if just for a moment, by mimicking its facial expressions. Just like the cat says, "Life is a race against time, and you won't get far!" 😽 My next favorite photo zone is the sofa zone, featuring a Keith Haring painting symbolizing New York's nickname, "The Big Apple," illuminated with LED lights, and a cushion by Jean Julien. I designed this zone to evoke the feel of a studio in the US and Europe. My husband and I often watch travel shows, and this is where we talk about the journeys we'll take in life! Life is a journey.
