But the area that most often comes to mind when you think of vintage is around the kitchen cabinets. Compared to the living room shelf in the second photo, it feels like a dichotomy between vintage and modern. Next to the kitchen cabinets, I placed a vintage American sewing box I recently purchased. As expected from a sewing box, it has storage for small items like buttons. I'm still deciding what to use it for. I bought it with the intention of storing things like remote controls in the living room, but it didn't really fit in there. So, I put it in the corner of the kitchen... 😂
