ep.1 Having a space to record whenever you want is such a blessing ˘͈ᵕ˘͈ With autumn in full swing, I've started a new chapter in my second season as a Today's House Special Creator! This season, I'm going to slowly document the stories of my own space. 💭🍂 My first post was on November 8, 2021. You can check it out at the bottom of the Today's House feed. 🙂‍↕️ The last page of today's post also shows my first Instagram post. I took a screenshot of it because it was a Today's House event post. :) Back then, I remember starting this post with the intention of collecting my dreams one by one and beautifully capturing my tastes, rather than trying to document a "great house." ☺️ I uploaded my first photos with a light heart, but looking back now, those records feel like precious diaries to me. Back when I was working as an architectural designer, I was so busy with work that my home was just a minimal living space... 🥹 (Tearful memories of my 20s flash through my mind ㅠ_ㅠ) Back then, I think I was more interested in exploring the world and hunting for cool places than being a homebody. 🏹 My hobby was collecting all sorts of things I liked and saving them on Pinterest. I think those little records shaped who I am today. Now that I'm in my 30s, I think taking care of my home means taking care of myself. I'm learning more about myself through taking care of my home, and sometimes, I'm reflecting on it, growing little by little ˙ᵕ˙✨ In the first round, I received a special trophy object, and in this second round, I even received my own special business card! More than anything, that business card contained the first moments of a record I couldn't even remember, which made my heart ache even more. ☁️ I'm probably the last one to post this again, haha. I hope that those of you who are just starting out with home decorating, as well as those who are already seasoned, will all enjoy and be happy in cultivating your homes and hearts :-) Please stay tuned for Umie's future records. 🫧 Sometimes, I'll share some raw, unfiltered stories.
