My house has an open living room and kitchen, a double-glazed layout. Sometimes, this can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. But when I'm hosting a home party, I don't have to move the TV or lights, so I think it creates a more emotional atmosphere. I had guests over that day, and we had a wonderful time at the dining table and in the space filled with my favorite black furniture, until late at night. Table styling, which can be tricky when hosting guests, is easy. Tall glasses add dimension, and since this isn't a dining setting, I like to mix and match different brands of tableware. Place bowls in accent colors.
