A kid-friendly living room layout 🪑 We don't have a TV or a sofa in our house. I wanted to create an "environment" that would support their development until my second child, who is currently 30 months old, reaches elementary school age (at least). 📖Rather than forcing them to read, I wanted to help them develop the habit of reading and become familiar with books on their own, away from media. Books are fun too!!!! Place a desk and bookshelf in the center of the living room, and leave one corner empty for free physical play. We keep unnecessary furniture and objects out of sight, and live minimally. A simple living room without visual noise seems to awaken children's creativity. Even with a single toy, they can play in endless ways, and even without toys, they can create their own play activities with chairs, desks, and cushions. At first, the children might seem bored, but just wait a month.
