Children's Room Bed Canopy I think it's because my teenage daughter loved bright, primary colors when she was younger, but now she prefers neutrals. I changed the wallpaper in her room from pink to white and even changed the bed cover from a frilly one to a basic mattress cover. My daughter loved it, but I thought it was too boring, so I installed a canopy over the bed. It looks neat and adds a nice pop of color.
