1 I've been putting off uploading photos lately, using the excuse of being busy, but looking at all the photos I've taken so far, the border between summer and fall is clear. It's amazing how the changes in temperature and humidity in my room are reflected in the photos. 2 The new layout felt awkward for a while, but now I feel like I've gotten used to it, both physically and mentally. I still bang my head against the picture frames on the wall, but I'm hoping that someday it will become a habit. (Every time a visitor suggests that I should move the photos away if I'm going to bang them like that, but I stubbornly keep them in their place.) 3 I'm currently reading poet Choi Seung-ja's Iowa Diary. Her writing has the power to linger even in the most insignificant sentences, but this, coupled with my habit of frequently revisiting them, means I can't seem to get any further.
