This was the space I was most looking forward to during the remodeling. I wanted a warm feeling, so I boldly added wood accents. Since I enjoy cooking, I made the island a little longer. I cook here, enjoy simple baking or drawing with my kids, and often sit quietly and work at the end of the day.
