#비포애프터 This is the before & after of our kitchen! ✨ It's so different now, isn't it? When we first moved in, the lower cabinets and the back of the island were charcoal-colored, and the upper cabinets and glass display cases had glass doors. At the time, we were going for a black and gold interior, so it didn't feel like a huge contrast. But as time went by, I gradually began to appreciate brighter, warmer interiors. That's how we transformed our kitchen into the white it is today. For the construction, we extended the length of the island to create space for a dishwasher, and added a cabinet above the refrigerator to accommodate the kimchi refrigerator. We finished the wall next to it with square temba board. Aside from that, I did most of the work myself. I installed mosaic tiles on the island countertop, and recently added sticker tiles to the wall. About two years ago, we replaced the sink with an Artisan square embossed sink, and the gas range was replaced with an induction stove! Concerned about the small size of the kitchen, we purchased and installed T5 indirect lighting that simply needs to be plugged in. We made and installed doors for the glass display cases, and we removed the glass door dampers, which were prone to malfunctioning. We also added new sheeting to the lower cabinets, and self-installed Tembaboard on the back of the island.
