Because of that, I ran into limitations in number and space, and secretly sent many plants to Green Star. I felt guilty for not caring for them properly, and my love for plants almost wavered. Looking back, it wasn't just a matter of number. No matter how hard I tried, some plants just kept dying in my house. I think the remaining plants are able to survive because they're tolerant of their current environment. Each plant has different environmental requirements, so even if you bring them home because they're pretty, if they don't have the right environment, they won't last long. There are clear limits to how well you can provide them with the right conditions for coexistence. I've learned that the key is finding plants that fit your home's environment. What about you?
