• Let me introduce you to the kitchen. The kitchen is where I put the most effort during the remodel. I built all the furniture out of birch plywood, and made the cabinets low on one side, to create more space in the small kitchen. I even used a built-in dishwasher, which I cleverly hid! Wood and stainless steel are the hallmarks of our home, so I chose stainless steel for the kitchen countertops. It's honestly quite difficult to maintain, but it's incredibly beautiful the more I look at it! It's also hygienic. I think a truly beautiful interior design requires embracing even scratches as part of its charm. :) But it's actually more work than I imagined.
