After deciding to move, I've finally decided on a kitchen remodel, which was the most daunting task! From the window blinds to the countertop, upper and lower cabinets, and even the tiles, nothing suited my taste, so I agonized over the changes. And so, the wood kitchen I've created has become my favorite space in the house. 🤎 - Upper and Lower Cabinets First, the upper and lower cabinets take up the most space! At first, I thought I'd do it myself, but there were more doors than I expected, so it seemed like it would take a really long time. I also worried that if I didn't apply it properly, I'd have to re-do it later, so I hired a film company to do the job! · Top panel, natural white film: Samsung SG1201 · Bottom panel, wood film: Samsung ZG5018 - Top And then there was the real problem: the top panel. A black top panel was something I hadn't even considered, so I gave it a lot of thought. My budget was tight, so replacing the top panel was out of the question. So, I considered installing a film on the top panel as well. However, the film company said it would inevitably cause many defects and wouldn't do it. I couldn't live with a black top panel, so I did it myself! It wasn't terribly easy to install, but it was still manageable. I sprayed silicone all over the sink and the edges of the film. It's been over a year and three months since I installed the film, and I'm using it without any issues so far, as long as I'm careful not to place hot items on cutting boards or pedestals. · Marble countertop film: Hyundai NS118 - Pantry door The pantry door was a plain white door, and while it looked neat, I wanted to add a touch of flair, so I bought some wainscoting from a hardware store, installed it myself, and painted it! I remember buying five 2440mm wainscoting pieces for about 30,000 won! · Paint: Milk White SH S 0300-N - Kitchen Item Recommendations · Warzia Celine Dining Table: Since the lower cabinets are wood-toned, I chose the Celine dining table because it looked clean and complemented the white table better than a similar wood-toned table. The legs are perfectly aligned in the center, making cleaning easier and setting the mood of the kitchen perfectly. · Wood Blanc Wall Shelf: The island extends to the side, giving the countertop more usable space, but I was wondering how to decorate that awkward space. A simple wood wall shelf, added as a focal point, further enhances the aesthetic of the wood kitchen. · Kitchen Utensils: Even the kitchen items displayed in the kitchen can't sacrifice aesthetics, so I added a "Heritage Wood Cutting Board," "Dorco Knife Block Set," and "Wood Kitchen Utensils & Pot Holders." These are actually in perfect use. This black and gray kitchen is breathtaking, even when I look back...
