I limited the materials to metal, acrylic, and glass, and wanted to create a spot that looked like a black-and-white photograph. The concept was for colors to emerge with the addition of ingredients and lighting. But to keep it from looking too cold, there were some hidden wood accents. (I still have so many metal items I want to buy, sob.) 🏆 My Top 3 Metal Items of Love 🔧 [Rhombus Lab] Aluminum Wall Shelf: I put a lot of effort into installing this dream shelf, even buying a level. It's not an incredibly practical item, but I think it's definitely the prettiest. It's in charge of the kitchen's identity (or should I say, the center? lol). 🔧 [Einstein] Magnetic Stainless Steel Board: After a long search for a magnetic stainless steel board, I stumbled upon this custom-made item. It's made of 304 stainless steel, 1.2T hairline, and SUS430, which is magnetic. 🔧 [Chicken in the Lab] Ging & Gang Steel Board: I just slapped some yons onto this custom-made stainless steel board! Using ring magnets, I hung a calendar, a hygrometer, a cute cheese grinder, a potato peeler, an espresso cup, and more to create a magnetic spot that's both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
