#비포애프터 The Importance of Doors❣️ The door, which was neither gray nor beige, was ambiguous and lacked presence. A complete transformation! I'll show you how I've completely changed~🎶 I love vintage interiors, so I've always dreamed of beautiful colored doors from overseas, and this time, I've completely realized that dream. I meticulously planned with Benjamin Moore's B Painter, and spent sleepless nights worrying about everything from the color to the hardware and the wainscoting ratio. Finally, I'm revealing the finished painting! Tea, a classic burgundy that's neither too dark nor too bright. The name itself is Tea, and it's so pretty! When the door is made pretty, the room's atmosphere changes completely—it exudes presence. Since it's a door that's opened and closed so often, I chose Regal Select Pearl Gloss, a paint that's resistant to scratches and stains. Its subtle sheen makes it look even more luxurious. For the first time in my life, I filled in the cracks in the door, smoothed it out, replaced the door hinges and doorknobs, and even applied wainscoting. I learned a lot from this painting project. The more I do something, the more experience I gain, which makes self-interior design fun. (Be careful, the more detailed it is, the longer it takes and the more physically demanding it can be. 😂) The twist is that since I live with my parents, the outside of the door is the original, and I only painted the part I see from my room. My mom doesn't know yet. 🤭 (I'm sure you all know by now,,,) Because of the exchange issue, I haven't been able to install the vintage mailbox yet. I still need to put up some wallpaper, and I'm going to add some hooks to the door for practicality. I'm debating whether to add a vintage door trim, so I'll update you once it's more complete. 🫶🏻 I'm having a hard time finding the vintage style I want.
