Let's see how a space that was clean but somewhat bland, like a new home, was transformed into a unique "home cafe"! ✨ 📷 Before: A Tone-on-Tone, Clean, but Uncharacteristic Kitchen • Key Point: The white upper cabinets, beige lower cabinets, wall tiles, and light wood-toned flooring were the epitome of a "new home"—a clean, tidy space. • Problem: While functionally perfect, it was a colorless, odorless space that didn't reflect my tastes or lifestyle at all. It lacked a unique "home" story. • Feel: It felt like a well-organized "sales office" model house! 🛠️ Change After: Filling Yourself with Color and Accessories I decided to infuse this unfinished canvas with my vibrant and lively energy. The biggest change was the 🍒 color! 1. Bold Red Cabinets & Checkered Rug • Red Cabinets: I boldly added vivid red sheeting to the plain cabinets. It became a powerful focal point that instantly captured the entire kitchen's atmosphere! • Checkerboard Rug: A black and white checkered rug contrasting with the red was placed in front of the sink, adding a retro yet pop of color. 2. Creating a "Cafe"-Style Dining Space • I added a small glass and metal dining table to the awkward space next to the kitchen. • Green chairs added a pop of color, and my favorite David Hockney poster hung on the wall to create a gallery/café feel. • A wall clock and lettering stickers completed the "Cafe à la maison" (home cafe) atmosphere. 3.
