I've been renovating a 100-year-old house into its current form, and I've been most satisfied with the piece of furniture I've been using. It was the Ilum Hazel bed. The space in our master bedroom where the bed was supposed to fit was particularly low, with protruding structures everywhere. I wanted a flat bed without a headboard to create a sense of openness. Ilum's Hazel bed was exactly the design I wanted, and its wood tone, while brighter than the main color palette, helped to tone down the overall atmosphere. The mattress I use with the bed is also an Ilum Daily mattress. I chose the Q size, which is smaller than the KK size, because I wanted to use one side of the bed as a bedside table.
