#작은변화큰차이 My house is 60 sq ft, with two bedrooms in the living room and a kitchen connected to the living room. It's a typical Korean apartment layout. 🙃 My house is completely boring, with everything from the wallpaper and flooring to the tiles and window frames. But it's so miserable that I can't help it. What can I do? Until I move, I'll have to console myself with the thought that this is a brand new apartment. ☺️ I used to follow the standard living room layout, with a three-seater sofa against the wall and a TV opposite. But the large, black TV kept bothering me, so I moved it to the master bedroom. Then, I transformed the space where the TV used to be into a reading nook. I split the sofa in half so they face each other, and I decorated it with a mini shelf and stools from the study. It really helps me concentrate. I put a motion desk in the study, and I do all my work there. 😅 Across from the living room, I have a home cafe and a dining table, making the 60 sq ft living room feel incredibly functional. Just by boldly removing the TV and rearranging the sofa, the atmosphere and usability of the space drastically changes.
