After living in this house for over a year and a half, I finally feel like I'm finally adjusting to this space. My affection for every corner of the house has deepened, and I'm reliving the same emotions I felt when I looked at my room back when I was living at my parents' house. The feeling of it being filled with only my favorite things brings me comfort. Cooking and baking, my longtime favorites, are now being done more often in the newly renovated kitchen. We're moving the furniture around to create a home that better suits our lifestyle. Including the time spent buying and renovating the house, nearly two years have already passed, but seeing how I'm still adjusting, it seems like it takes a long time for a "house" to truly become a home. I've come to realize that a home is more than just a physical thing; it's closer to a concept and emotion.
