We've all experienced the desire to change the atmosphere of an old home without major renovations. This can be especially daunting when even basic installations like molding, wallpaper, and flooring are difficult. This project, however, is a case study of how, despite these limitations, the power of "home styling" breathed new life into an old home. The client, while deeply attached to the space she'd lived in for many years, was disappointed by its deteriorating appearance. With construction impossible, the client revitalized the space with furniture arrangement, lighting, and accessories. While the worn flooring and wallpaper were left intact, green-toned furniture and warm, indirect lighting created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Blinds were installed on the windows to control light and provide privacy while adding a touch of sophistication. Small shelves, picture frames, and even a vintage radio added a narrative to the space, subtly expressing the client's individuality. As such, home styling goes beyond simply arranging objects; it's a magical way to completely transform the atmosphere of a space. This project is a good example of how big a change can be made with just home styling, without any construction, even in an old and worn-out house. Even under the constraints of not being able to touch anything, including molding, wallpaper, and flooring, we listened to the customer's story, discovered the potential of the space, and successfully brought about an emotional change.
