I'm renovating this 20-year-old apartment, imbuing it with my own personal style. I remodel it by adding new furniture to existing pieces, or by custom-designing furniture to perfectly fit the space. I even build partition walls. There's no space in the house that hasn't been touched by my hands. I've been adapting the space to suit my family as I've lived here, and I expect it will continue to do so. I like a house where, when I enter, I can see the person I am. I like a house where I can see their hobbies, their tastes, and the home itself. I added a custom-made robot vacuum cleaner cabinet to the existing furniture, placed a countertop on top, and tiled it. I was worried it would be too cluttered if everything was covered, so I finished one side with stainless steel rod.
