This apartment doesn't have a pantry. We expanded the living room and installed built-in closets. Because we have children, I didn't want the living room to look cluttered if we had toy storage or other items in it. The built-in closets keep things organized and neat. The kids can easily open and close the closets and access toys. The bottom shelf holds the kids' toys, the middle holds household items, and the top shelf holds medicine, manuals, art supplies, etc., keeping things neat and tidy.
