Hello! I'm Yuju, a new member of the 20th FTC. 🏠Living Style I live with my parents in a low-rise apartment with a balcony. My tastes are quite different from those of my family, who tend to prefer the more conventional lifestyle. So, while the living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and bathroom are quite ordinary, the moment you open my door, you can imagine a whole new world unfolding. ✨ This room, filled with all sorts of vintage items, custom-designed furniture, and handmade accessories, is my little world of reading, writing, drawing, and creating. 💖A Collector of Taste Since I was 20, I've been collecting vintage clothing, teacups and bowls, candlesticks, and vases. I appreciate objects that aren't commonly found these days, but rather items with distinct colors, textures, and stories. However, rather than purely vintage or antique items, I also mix and match party curtains and accessories that make you wonder, "Why is this here?" I buy vintage furniture that's been reinterpreted for modern functionality, or I have a woodworking shop make it for me. I prefer interesting clashes over simplicity. That's why my room is a harmonious blend of old and new, expensive and cheap, heavy and light, and colors and patterns. It's all my style! 🍑Favorite brand? It's me. I read over 100 books a year, write in my journal every day, and document my life through drawings and crafts. I enjoy and create art and culture in my daily life. This room is where I get my inspiration and where my creative work takes place. It's a living space, a studio, and a workshop. I run my personal brand, Naughty Citrus, where I create living crafts, stationery designs, and clothing that tell a story. I'm the best at making what I want and need! Nevertheless, my favorite brands are: Living select shops Anthropologie and Mina Perhonen, Vintage living brands Fire-King, Anchor-Hocking, Arcopal, Lenox, Macbeth-Evans, and Avon. 🪟The Charm of Low-Rise Interiors Luckily, my house is on the first floor, surrounded by landscaped trees, preventing people from passing by. My room's greatest treasure isn't any furniture or expensive vintage items I've painstakingly acquired, but the window that allows me to fully appreciate the four seasons. Every day, I watch birds and cats, and sometimes, with cherry blossoms fluttering in the spring and delicate leaves fluttering in the fall, I spread out a rug here, sip tea, read a book, and take a nap while enjoying the scenery. 🙌Last Greetings What kind of place is home? A place where the time and lives of those who fill it accumulate. The reason we gather at "Today's House" isn't simply about interior design. It's also about curiosity, concern, and a desire to share how my neighbors live far away, what small joys they've enjoyed and how they've spent their busy days, and whether they're spending their nights comfortably in their homes. That's why I want to share with you the records of my life, born from this house, beyond mere "interior" content.
