The small kitchen window was an eyesore from the time we were renovating until after we moved in. Blocking it out and turning it into a wall felt stuffy, and replacing it with a nice sash would have been over budget, so I just had to replace the sash film. But it was completely unsightly, including the clunky handle. I'm going to live here for a long time, so I agonized over what to do with it.
