It's already been exactly a year since we moved to Somok Yeongwol in December. I also came down from Seoul after working for 20 years, and we lived as a weekend couple for over half a year before quitting my job and moving in together this summer. It's still a bit early to say I've fully enjoyed all four seasons. The real Gangwon-do summer is still left until next year, so I'm trying to slow down and enjoy this life a little more leisurely. Everyone told me not to (haha, the designer tried too hard at first), but I've spent countless simple yet fulfilling days in front of this Red Frame. We've eaten hearty meals, played games, made cakes, and more. It wasn't that long ago that I lived in an apartment, but life in this house feels so much more natural. Living in a house with a Red Frame was always my dream, but I think the life I want isn't about grandiose things. It's about the freedom to design my own home, at least in my own way. To my friends who read my account, if you dream of your own style, your own interior, and your own home, I hope that day will come. And I believe you will.
