Even in a 100-square-foot house, the kitchen isn't very spacious, so I think it's best to use the kitchen space as storage, and place the table in the living room for multi-purpose use. The round table allows family members to sit fairly without having to assign each person a specific spot. I love that there's no hierarchy in seating, so I've always used a round table. This table can be used as a dining table, a coffee table, a workspace, a place for the kids to draw, read, and do homework.
