𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚🎄❤️ This year, we had a small Christmas party at home again! As someone who's serious about Christmas, I paid a lot of attention to everything from the menu to the plating! There were a lot of dishes I tried for the first time, but everyone praised them for being delicious, which was so satisfying 😆 1. Mackerel Rice in a Pot ➡️ Mackerel: Use boneless mackerel. Remove the fins and coat both sides with a thin layer of flour. Fry in a greased pan, then add the sauce and simmer until tender. ✅ Sauce Recipe: 3/4 cup soy sauce / 3/4 cup mirin / 1/1 cup sugar / 1/1 cup oyster sauce / 1/1 cup minced garlic ➡️ Rice: Soak the rice for at least 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Wash the aged kimchi and chop it finely. In a pot, add 2 parts cooking oil, 5 parts sesame oil, 0.5 parts aged kimchi, and 0.5 parts soybean paste and stir-fry. Add the soaked rice and water in a 1:1 ratio. At this point, add 1-2 pieces of chopped kelp (I used 2 for 4 servings), 1 part fish sauce, and 2-3 parts soy sauce. Simmer over medium heat. If the water has significantly reduced, remove the kelp. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with the green onions and cooked mackerel, and you're done! 2. Salmon Sashimi ➡️ Marinate in salt for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel. Then, coat the salmon with the kelp soaked in water or rice wine and let it marinate for a day! This will make the salmon meat more plump and delicious! ✅ Sauce Recipe: Minced Onion / 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise / 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice / Pepper / Wasabi (To taste, I think I used about a teaspoon and a half!) 3. Crispy Whole Pork Belly ➡️ Season the skin with salt only, and the top with salt and pepper. Make slits at 1cm intervals on the skin and bake in the oven at 160°C for 30 minutes. Follow by baking at 200°C for 20-30 minutes (adjust according to the meat's texture) and you're done! You can add garlic at the end if you like. ✅ Chive Salad Recipe: 2 Tbsp Red Pepper Powder / 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic / 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce / 1 Tbsp Sugar / 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce / 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil / A dash of Sesame Seeds 4. Butter Garlic Shrimp ➡️ Make slits on the back of the shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel. Next, add oil and 1-2 tablespoons of minced garlic to the pan (I like garlic and used 2.5 tablespoons because I have a lot of shrimp!) and cook the shrimp. Finally, sprinkle with oligosaccharide, lemon juice, pepper, and parsley, and you're done! 5. Potato Pancakes ➡️ Slice the potatoes and squeeze out the water. (⭐️ Don't discard the water! The starch will settle to the bottom, and we'll mix it in!) Pour the water over the potatoes and add the starch, potato slices, and egg whites. Season with salt and pepper, then fry in the pan. Finally, top with the egg yolk, close the lid, and cook until done! (A little salt on the egg yolk is delicious!) 6.
