The bedroom is separate, and I wanted to separate the living room and kitchen, so I use a storage unit as a main countertop. Rather than making the space feel cramped or cramped, the natural separation between the living room and kitchen creates a cleaner flow and clearly defines the functions of each space. With just one storage unit, I was able to maximize the benefits of the 1.5-room layout, securing not only storage space but also a cooking area. I'm very satisfied with the organized feel of each space when I move into my new home.
