#FTC20기이야기 #똑똑한가구배치 #집꾸미기 Hello. This is Nook House, a newlywed couple remodeling a 135-square-foot (40-pyeong) apartment. A home isn't just about being pretty; it's also about being comfortable. So, today, I'm going to talk about the smart furniture arrangements we made while decorating our newlywed home. 🪑 ⸻ 💡 ep1. Kitchen Furniture Arrangement Based on Storage From the kitchen interior design stage, the most important consideration was "how much we could store." While visual design was important, it's ultimately a space we use every day, and if the storage arrangements are cluttered, no matter how beautiful, they quickly become inconvenient. So, we customized the furniture to provide ample storage space to fit our lifestyle. With the space naturally divided into frequently used, occasionally used, and rarely used items, the kitchen always feels organized, and the movement paths have become incredibly convenient when cooking. Now, every time I stand in the kitchen, I think, "This is really well-planned!" ⸻ 💡 ep2. Living Room Layout Changed to an L-Shaped Sofa The biggest change recently has been the living room. We used to have a straight-sided sofa, but it felt a bit empty, and when I actually sat down, I felt it wasn't very useful. So, after much deliberation, I changed the sofa to an L-shape. The result is much more satisfying than I expected! While the living room looks more spacious, the movement paths feel more stable, and the usable space has significantly increased, whether we're lying down, sitting, or just hanging out together. These days, I find myself naturally spending more time in the living room, whether watching TV or just relaxing. ⸻ A home isn't a finished product, but rather a space you gradually adapt to as you live. I didn't realize how much of a difference a simple furniture arrangement could make in the atmosphere and usability of a space until I actually tried it myself. Going forward, I plan to make Nook House even smarter and more comfortable, tailored to our lifestyle. 🤎 I'll share more stories slowly on Today's House and Instagram! 🏠✨
