A weekend spent at home with the kids 🏠 It felt a bit awkward to go out, so I tried making a strawberry shortcake to relieve my boredom. 🍰💕 I whipped 500ml of whipping cream and 50g of sugar vigorously. I cut the chiffon cake I bought from the bakery into three layers. I drizzled it with sugar syrup, then layered it in the following order: whipping cream, sliced strawberries, and whipping cream. 🍓✨ I put the whipping cream in a plastic bag I bought from Daiso. I helped shape it with my kids, and it turned out so much better. 😊 I didn't have any icing tools, so I gently finished the outside with a bread knife. Even that felt homemade, which made it even more special. 🤍 Although I'm not a professional, the extra time spent making, laughing, and sharing the cake together made it taste really...
