My favorite saying is 2026, the year of the protagonist. My parents have a second home in the East Sea, so I used the photos they sent me to watch the sunrise while lying in bed. I made tteokguk (rice cake soup) late in the evening and shared it with my husband. (Our recipe is a 1:1 ratio of beef bone broth and anchovy broth.) This year, I'm determined to fill my home and heart with simplicity, and my table with abundance.
