I had a space I really wanted to create, so I started secretly when my wife wasn't around! 🤗 (I locked the door until I was done, lol) #Sponsored by @benjaminmoorekorea I was just creating my own studio! A calm, yet slightly weighty, studio-like space that felt stylish :) Actually, I went to IKEA recently, and there was a showroom decorated with dark-toned study rooms. And I was even more encouraged when I heard husbands, young and middle-aged, sit in it and say, "I want to make a study like this someday." So I decided to paint it myself, and I started looking for colors. Benjamin Moore had released a color that perfectly matched my vision for 2026. 'Silhouette AF-655 (Matte)' It's a deep color with hints of charcoal and brown, and I thought it would be perfect for creating depth and a sense of luxury in the space. 😅 But one of the things I was worried about was that the wallpaper in my house was diamond wallpaper?! Because diamond has such a nice texture and three-dimensional feel, the surface was incredibly uneven. So the paint only applied to the raised areas, but not the inside...ㅠㅠ And then I finally found a solution! I painted it in eight directions—up and down, left and right, and diagonally—with a paint roller, and it finally looked good. I'm humming the song "Bumpy, Bumpy" so hard...🤣 For the first time, I regret choosing the Diamant wallpaper lol ⏩️ Self-Painting Process 1. Clear the area to be painted, including furniture and wall shelves. 2. Secure the ceiling, floor, and walls with duct tape. (Be sure to secure outlets and switches, too.) 3. To improve paint adhesion and color development, prime the entire surface (let it dry for about 2 hours). ➡️ Benjamin Moore All-Purpose Primer 4. After the primer dries, paint (let it dry for about 2 hours). ➡️ Benjamin Moore Ben Silhouette AF-655 Matte (Use a roller for large surfaces, and a brush for edges and corners.) 5. Recoat. ▶️ Maintenance - 1 coat of primer - 1 coat of paint - 2 coats of paint Now that the paint is all done, I need to arrange the furniture and lighting... I hope I can get it done, right?
