The first option to keep winter at bay: Close the cracks in your door. Ugh… why is the weather so cold these days? 😂 I thought it was warm for winter this year, but in the blink of an eye, it was -10 degrees… The weather is so unpredictable🥶 In the world of Alice, it's like a tea party in the morning, and the Snow Queen at night❄️ The pride of my house is that one side has a full-length window, so I can fully experience all four seasons from inside my room. I can't believe how much I enjoyed the first snowfall last time through the window. I can't give up the full-length window😄 But… Romance is romance, and cold is just so damn cold. Days when I turn on the boiler, it feels like I'm working, and it's hard to tell. So, I finally bought some cold weather protection items ❄️ That's right… padded curtains! When you first hang them, don't you think, "Huh? Those aren't our original curtains?" 👀 The color and tone are similar to the existing curtains, so they blend in very naturally, without making the space feel suddenly different. ✨ Personally, I prefer a slightly warmer oatmeal tone over pure beige, which I really like. 🤎 When you place a cup of tea on them, the color just seems even cozier. ☕🐇 But the real highlight is... As expected, the thickness is perfect💥 It's thickly padded, so it's perfect for blocking out the draft🙌 That chilly air you feel when standing by the window is completely blocked by a single padded curtain. So, my routine these days is👇 During the day, I keep the curtains open and enjoy the seasonal breeze through the large window🌤️ When the sun sets, I close the curtains slightly to block out the draft, and create a cozy night like a blackout curtain🌙 Just by closing one curtain, the room suddenly becomes quiet and cozy, like the inside of a rabbit hole🐇🕳️ It's a cold wave outside, but inside, it's a perfect temperature for tea time. Thanks to the padded curtains that block the cold, control the light, and even set the mood, this winter is a little less cold, a little more like a fairytale📖 No matter how bitter it is outside, my time still flows.
