I put away all the Christmas trees before the new year, but there are still traces of the holiday season lingering here and there. I wake up and start cleaning the house, and Rowan starts making a mess. Rowan is my first child, and since I'm the sole parent, I've been doing a lot of playtime at home. But Rowan, with two children and a full-time job, isn't always able to do much for him. Still, seeing Rowan persevere and create his own play and relationships fills me with pride, admiration, and gratitude.
