Some people might say, "If raising a child is so hard, why don't you let go of the interior design and organizing?" 🤔 But actually, taking care of your home can actually help moms and dads reduce parenting stress. A perfectly organized and beautiful home ❌ A home that's easy to maintain ⭕ That's our goal for our home. I can't organize all my books by color and size, or hang baby clothes neatly on hangers by color. ➡️ Instead, I use a neat bookshelf that looks neat even if books are haphazardly arranged, and a dresser that looks neat when closed, even if clothes are roughly folded. It's natural for a house to become messy when raising a baby, but many of us have probably experienced the creeping depression of being surrounded by a never-ending pile of toys. Even a few small improvements to awkward movement patterns and structures can make a difference in the quality of parenting, and a gradual tidying up of the home can help you feel more in control. Rearranging furniture is a refreshing change for both parents, and a new environment is also a great stimulus for babies. In our home, we've transformed our living room into a TV-free study, using IKEA bookcases as modules. We've noticed a significant difference in our baby's immersion by rearranging the bookshelf and sofa arrangements and diversifying the play environment. Since we've transformed our living room into a study, we've also seen a significant reduction in the amount of toys we have to put away! ✨Home improvement isn't about constantly tidying up, but about choosing to clean less and be less tired. Giving up interior design while raising a child vs. maintaining it: What choice did you make? . . #housewithbaby #housewithbabyinterior #housewithbabylivingroom #housewithbaby #housewithbaby #livingroomstudy #cornsoupfilm #followback #cornsouprecord #nurseryinterior #nurserydecoration
